Events Rules & Judging Criteria
Rang De Histolica (UG)
This captivating competition combines the precision of histology with the vibrant art of rangoli. Participants create intricate patterns inspired by cellular structures, transforming microscopic beauty into visual masterpieces. It’s a unique fusion of science and creativity that celebrates the hidden wonders of our bodies.
Rules & Judging Criteria:
  1. Expressing histology through rangoli. Any histology diagram can be drawn
  1. 4X4 feet space will be allotted as per lot number.
  1. The maximum number of participants per team is 5. Any team with more than 5 participants will be disqualified.
  1. All materials needed for the rangoli must be brought by the participants.
  1. The total duration of time will be 90 minutes.
  1. The competition will commence at the same time for all participants.
  1. Any team coming late will not be given extra time.
  1. Criteria for judging
  1. Relevance to the theme
  1. Colour combination
  1. Clarity and neat presentation
  1. Academic precision
  1. The decision of the judges is final.
Corporis Artis (UG)
In Corporis Artis, participants become living canvases, transforming their bodies into artistic masterpieces. Inspired by anatomical structures, they use skin-safe paints to create captivating designs on the Caput (head) and Brachium (arm). The fusion of art and anatomy comes alive as creativity blends with precision, resulting in unique and visually stunning body art.
Rules & Judging Criteria:
  1. Expressing Gross Anatomy through body painting - Painting must be done only on head, neck and upper limb.
  1. A team of three participants is permitted.
  1. Any team with more than 3 participants will be disqualified.
  1. All materials needed for the painting must be brought by the participants
  1. Total duration of time will be 90 minutes.
  1. The competition will commence at the same time for all participants.
  1. Any team coming late will not be given extra time.
  1. Criteria for judging

Plumaris Embryo (UG)
Introducing Plumaris Embryo: Expressing Embryology through Embroidery. Plumaris Embryo is a unique initiative that beautifully blends the science of embryology with the art of embroidery. By stitching intricate patterns that represent various stages of embryonic development, Plumaris Embryo offers a visually stunning and educational perspective on the wonders of life from conception to birth. This creative approach not only enhances understanding but also celebrates the artistry within the scientific process.
Rules & Judging Criteria:
  1. Expressing embryology through embroidery
  1. One participant per entry.
  1. Any entry with more than 1 participant will be disqualified.
  1. All materials needed for the embroidery must be brought by the participants
  1. Total duration of time will be 3 hours.
  1. The competition will commence at the same time for all participants.
  1. Anyone coming late will not be given extra time.

  1. Theme of the meme must be related to Anatomy Medical Education
  1. Maximum two participants per team.
  1. Video must be in MP4 format.
  1. Participants must bring a soft copy of the meme in pen-drive, and they should also mail the video to [email protected]
  1. Last date for submission through e-mail is 10th September 2024
